Relish the morning sun in the garden with your coffee as the chickens scratch the ground looking for breakfast. Pickets from the old 1915 Farmhouse panel the interior walls and wood from the original barn was re-born into all the trim, casing, beams, and other architectural details. Vaulted ceilings and large window bring the garden inside. Step into the surrounding gardens blooming with hydrangeas, nasturtiums, spireas and more. An old Jonagold apple tree creates an archway on the pathway framing the suite’s entrance. Flowering crab apples and other landscape plants provide a sense of privacy and keep the room a secret. Sights and sounds of the farm and nature spill into the room once you open the door. Enjoy live ‘Chicken TV’ from the gardens behind the room all day every day.NOTE: We are rearranging some furniture and freshening up the room. Please check back April/May 2022 for updated photos. The Feathered NestSleep soundly on the queen pillowtop bed. A second full bed in the sleeping loft is accessible by a wood ladder. The loft is a cozy space for sleeping only, with no room for standing. Our suites offer modern accents and furniture along side our own custom and reclaimed site elements. There is a “kids” corner stacked with classic books up in the loft. Though we won’t blame adults for getting lost in the nostalgia of reading these old classics. Wi-Fi is available inside the suite and throughout most of the farm if you fancy sitting outside in the sun.
